Depending on the nature of the back injury, yes. I would encourage you to be aware of what movements in particular cause an increase in your symptoms, and stay away from those movements under a load. There are plenty of different rehab protocols out there specifically for the low back injuries that you can find online. The two most common ones being McKenzie and Williams protocols.
More info about your back injury would be helpful... just avoid FLEXION...bending forward at the waist or looking down ... wear a compression belt if it is a lower back issue.

Depends on your back injury. May return to gym as tolerated.
Back injuries and working out can be tricky. There could be multiple reasons that your back hurts. Some of the reasons will respond well to exercise while others will not. Typically, walking should be fine for most back injuries. Staying away from exercises that load your spine such as squats and deadlifts should be advised. The bottom line should be if it hurts dont do it.
You should let your back heal.
If it's actively painful you don't want to stress and stretch an inflamed area. It just makes it worse
Remaining active is very important, depending on the actual injury. Activity modification and identifying the cause is very important. But at least stretching and range of motion is very important.
Depends on the back injury, but you can modify your exercises, talk to your practitioner for more precise instructions
Hello
Once you have been evaluated by a chiropractor that can be determined.
ANytime you have an injury, you may want to give your body a chance to heal. Once your pain is under control and you are feeling well enough, we always like you to "test it out" and see how you're doing. You may need to lighten your weights, decrease your reps or modify, but at some point you will be able to get back into the gym. We want you back in the gym to stay healthy! Unless of course your injury is so severe it is contraindicative to your care.
