Yes, sometimes Chiropractic can help the alignment of the Spinal column, but only with the patient's participation. First, it would be necessary to take an x-ray of the area that may or may not be out of alignment and then determine how likely realignment would be. As with most Spinal conditions, good posture, ergonomics at work and elsewhere along with a routine exercise program, are all necessary to make long-term Spinal alignment corrective changes. For example, your neck spine lacks the normal forward curve. Chiropractic treatment can help free up joints in the neck to bring the normal curvature back into the neck. Yet, if the patient is constantly looking downward texting, and surfing the Internet, the treatment will not bring the neck curvature back. So, patient involvement is vitally necessary for making and maintaining corrective Spinal alignment changes.
In a sense, yes. we restore proper motion into the joints of your spine - actually, any joint of the body! If you have scoliosis, or another type of spinal deformity, depending on the severity, it may be possible to help 'realign' the spine. Have your chiropractor examine you and explain what care is appropriate for your condition. Best of Health.
Yes, chiropractors can realign the spine. That is a lay man’s way of saying what we do. There are many different techniques that can be used to correct subluxations, postural distortions and functional distortions.
Yes.
Yes they can
Chiropractors' primary goal is to align the spine so that the nervous system, muscular system, and skeletal system all function optimally.
Yes. The foundation of Chiropractic is the realignment of vertebra. We call the misalignment a subluxation. Chiropractors also align all joints of the body such as shoulders, knees or hips. Techniques can vary from traditional to light force and non-force. Thank you for your question.
That is the main job of the Chiropractor. To find the bones that are stuck or fixated and realign them to restore joint function. That will take the pressure off the nerve allowing your body to function properly, it will also allow those bones to now pump fluid in that disc to keep it puffy to prevent aging and arthritis.
Yes. Adjustments to the spine can help to improve the alignment of the spine. Misalignments of the spine add stress to the spinal segments that are not in the proper position and that increase in stress can cause increased degenerative changes.
Yes, this is exactly what Chiropractors do.
