After having a tooth extracted - especially molars - you may feel some pain and discomfort for around 3-7 days after it has been removed. However, if you still have intense pain near the area immediately after 5 days, book an appointment to see your dentist.
You should see your dentist for post-op. Some mild discomfort is normal but it’s hard to assess how much pain you have. Also, it’s important to keep the area clean to reduce inflammation.

It is within normal limit to have pain 6 days after having an extraction. It’s all depending on the healing complicity of the individual, the complication of the extraction, the location of the tooth, and the post-operative care. If the extraction site releases a bad odor and the pain increases after 6 days. The patient may have a dry socket, which is a fairly common complication, call the dentist and have them take a look at it. Hope this helps.
It's possible but to be safe see the dentist who extracted the tooth to rule out an infection. For now, warm salt water rinses 3-4 times per day.
Yes. If there was a lot of infection or it was a surgical or a complicated extraction it may take up to 2 weeks. If there is swelling present antibiotics may be needed. Let your dentist know. If food is present in the extraction site, you may need to see your dentist get it flushed out.
You may have s dry socket. See your dentist Asap.
Depending on the difficulty of the extraction 6 days out can still be sore. You can take 400 mg Ibuprofen with 500 mg Tylenol every 4-6 hours. If you have sharp pain or pain that doesn’t seem to be improving you may have a condition called dry socket in which case you should contact your dentist for a post op visit.
You might have developed a dry socket. The best bet is to go back to whoever extracted the tooth and have them take a look. Don't forget to continue the antibiotics (if they were prescribed), rinse throughout the day with warm water (with or without salt), keep the area clean. Definitely see your dentist much sooner than later. Feel better.
It could be possible to have pain after 6 days specially if u have a dry socket. U should have it evaluated by the dentist who did the extraction. Thanks
