OMG!!! I am so so sorry to hear that :(this sounds like a Radiculopathy, aka; PINCHED NERVE.
Back pain does not discriminate by height, weight, age, or religion! It does discriminate by history and extend of injury, by physical activity and correct course of care.
History of Diabetes may be a complication but NOT THE CAUSE ! So don’t feel defeated because of that. Get your X-rays, standing/seated ( weight bearing) find the underlying cause and come up with a fast course of Acute Treament option. Today I had a patient with similar issue where i recommended BAX-U men’s Atlas Shorts (BAX-U.com) and she felt instant relief, of pressure in her lower back.

Hope this was helpful

Spinal pain is no fun, Talk to your doctor about other options and look for a chiropractor that also does soft tissue work. Airrosti practioners are very good and helping with soft tissue damage. Look at their website. Gentle stretches would also help.
I would refer you back to the doctor who performed the injections.
Injections are outside the Chiropractic Scope of Practice, therefore I suggest you contact your Doctor who performed the injections. Otherwise, call your local Doctor of Chiropractic for a thorough examination.
Return to your doctor who did the injections and get an MRI if you have not yet.
What kind of injections?
Three weeks of low back pain, in a 58 yo man, especially a Type II diabetic, especially if using drugs to reduce blood sugar while maintaining a habitual high carbohydrate diet, should be no surprise. Taking a finger stick test daily provides useful information. Now, if a person allows themselves to become dehydrated, this could aggravate existing marginal kidney issues. Kidney issues are famously painful. Drinking a gallon a day of pure (RO, distilled) water every day, or attempting to, after a week or so tests for dehydration. This leaves the musculoskeletal issues for which you should consult your chiropractor.
Hello, Have you tried any other treatment besides the epidurals? We provide conservative exams and treatment to find the source of the problem and if possible remove the cause of the pain. We may be able to help. Give us a call at 708-403-2727 to schedule an appointment or just schedule on Zocdoc. We look forward to seeing you soon. Take care and be well. Dr. Eric Miller
Sorry but you are not giving me much information. What is the cause of your pain? What type of injections? Have you spoken to your pain management doctor?
