Salmonella

Will I get salmonella through a small cut on my finger? I have been concerned for 5 mins, and I have not been taking any medications.

The likelihood of contracting Salmonella from a cut on finger is low.
No, you cannot get salmonella through a cut on your finger.
While technically, the answer is yes, it would be considered a rare event. Utilize good handwashing and watch for any signs of infection.
Salmonella is not something we commonly are concerned about through a cut in the finger, unless you have been handling raw foods such as chicken with the open wound. We would want to know if your tetanus is up to date, and if you were in the Emergency Room, we would likely wash it out and stitch if big enough.
