I recommend to see a podiatrist first. please look into my office's social media or website for what podiatrist can do.
I would recommend a podiatrist as we are specially trained in foot, ankle and lower leg problems and would know more and how to treat the problem.
See the person or diagnosis and treats 100 foot and ankle cases per week. Keep in mind that after the diagnosis, treatment will be recommended. If you exhaust all the non surgical therapies and subsequently need surgery, then you need a surgeon, ie, Podiarist.
Hi, depending on the type of foot pain you can see either speciality, but I would suggest seeing a Podiatrist first.
Podiatrists are specifically trained to deal with any issue concerning the foot. I may be biased, but your foot pain should be evaluated by a podiatrist.
Chiropractors are not foot specialists. Podiatrists are foot and ankle specialists with 4 years of medical and podiatry education after college snd 3 years of residency training in medicine and surgery. I’m not saying a chiropractor doesn’t know anything about foot problems, but the training a podiatrist gets speaks for itself.
I recommend doing both to get the best treatment possible. If you can only do 1, I would start with a Sports Chiropractor.
Definitely see a podiatrist. Podiatrists specialize in disorders of the foot and ankle. Problems can be treated conservatively or surgically. Chiropractors can treat problems with balance and problems stemming from the back which can contribute to foot pain. However, podiatrists are a better choice to evaluate and treat all foot and ankle problems.
If you are having foot pain, I recommend you see a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist). I believe they will provide the best treatment for your condition
You should see a podiatrist if you're having foot pain. Podiatrists are trained specifically in foot and ankle pathology and are extensively trained in clinical and surgical treatment of foot and ankle pathology.
There are many possible reasons why you have foot pain. Depending on what the problem is, one may be more beneficial than the other. A chiropractor will most likely be less costly than a podiatrist. A good chiropractor will take a good history and perform an examination to identify the cause of your foot pain. If you need a podiatrist, your chiropractor can make that referral.
It is depending on the type of injury or conditions you have. You can see a chiropractor first. If you condition is outside the scope of the chiropractic practice, you will be referred to the podiatrist.
Doctors of Chiropractic should work with all the specialist in health care. I prefer being the primary, but I have no problem with being secondary or any other position as long as the patient is being helped. Team effort is many times the best.
That's an easy one! See a Foot Doctor/Podiatrist first and depending on what your condition an appropriate referral if need be will be to a Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, etc...
That decision of who to go to is a personal decision. The podiatrist is a foot and ankle specialist. The chiropractor although they do some foot and ankle work, much better with manipulative type therapy.

It will probably be best to see a podiatrist as podiatrists specialize in conditions of the foot and ankle and can likely perform imaging as needed.
Thank you.
Thank you.
That really depends on your preference. In some instances if your Chiropractor feels that it is something outside of their scope of practice they will refer to a podiatrist and vice and versa.
