Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor (ENT) Questions Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)

There seem to be 2 bones in my thyroid/throat?

I'm an 18 year old male and I have recently noticed that I have 2 bones in my throat/thyroid. It seems like there is something with it, so now I am worried that this might be thyroid cancer or something similar.

Need to see ENT SPECIALIST. This may be normal variation. Only examination and if needed some radiologist studies
This looks like you have the normal "Adam's apple" and just below the area the beginning of the trachea is present with the cricoid cartilage. These are not bones but are cartilages of the voice box which are standard and not suggestive of any abnormality.

It's a little difficult to tell from that picture alone, but this warrants work-up from an ENT physician. After a history and physical examination, imaging is warranted - likely a CT or ultrasound - which may be followed by a needle biopsy. Get checked ASAP.
It's difficult to tell much from the picture, but you definitely should see an ENT physician. Based on the location, it looks like there is swelling in the lower aspect of the left side of your neck. This looks a bit lateral to be your thyroid (possible), and more likely (given your age) represents a cyst.
