Can a bottom tooth make a top tooth hurt?

I am a 22 year old female. I wonder if a bottom tooth can make a top tooth hurt?

Yes! It’s called referred pain. In addition, muscle pain, nerve pain, and some heart conditions can cause referred pain as well. Always have pain evaluated.
Malocclusion happens. Yes, but the pain is usually from what is going between the teeth that causes the problem. Go to a general dentist, get an X-ray and check for a fractured tooth.

What you are referring to is the phenomenon known as "referred pain". With referred pain, you are sometimes unable to localize the actual source of a toothache. You can distinguish left from right side, but you are unable to pinpoint the origin of pain, whether it is upper or lower. In reality, only one tooth actually hurts, but you "feel" the pain in multiple sites. Only when the correct tooth is treated does the pain in all sites disappear.
Yes, sort of. If a lower tooth is infected, it can make the upper tooth seem to hurt (referred pain). If a lower tooth is hitting the upper tooth in an abnormal way, that can also make the upper tooth hurt.
Yes
Yes, sometimes a rear bottom molar can cause what’s called referred pain to an upper tooth.

Yes, it can.

Thank you for your question.
If your occlusion/bite is not right, any tooth that is in traumatic alignment can be symptomatic. That would be temperature sensitive, sore and even can become mobile. Sometimes all that is needed is an occlusal adjustment, it depends on the situation.

Hope this helps,

It's called referred pain, especially if it is from wisdom teeth or posterior teeth.
Yes, if there’s premature contact between the opposing teeth
Absolutely! Malocclusion can cause pain in the long run. Sudden acute pain can be caused by infection or fracture of the tooth, or even from grinding/clenching at night. Please have your dentist perform an intra-oral exam to make sure everything is okay.
