A chiropractor won't treat your fatigue specifically, but it is true that a few side effects of getting care may help restore a bit of your energy. Take a look at how this form of care may be able to help you. Chiropractors are known for their ability to diminish pain in the body, especially pain in the neck or back.
A chiropractor who will take a detailed history and perform a thorough examination to uncover the cause of the fatigue may be able to help you or make an appropriate referral. Some things that a chiropractor may consider would be diet, lifestyle, habits, and things like that.
Chiropractic, in my opinion can help reduce aches and pains in your joints and relax your muscles. If your 13 year old is achy and tired from feeling achy, then chiropractic would help. However, a 13 year old typically should not be overly fatigued. My recommendation would be to have him assessed by his primary and evaluate if there are any extenuating circumstances causing the fatigue, such as nutritional deficiencies, poor sleeping habits, too much screen time and hormonal changes. Seek a chiropractor that has expertise in nutritional counseling if you are starting here.
yes
The cause of the fatigue needs to be determined but that happens to be one of the most common things we work with in our office. Iā€™d check with your chiropractor to see if they have treatments for chronic fatigue as it might not be a specialty of every chiropractor.
Yes! The first difference that patients see when starting under chiropractic care is better and more restful sleep. Chiropractors help to activate the calming side of your brain. As always, you would need to do a full examination and detailed case history with your chiropractor to get to the root cause.
Doctors of Chiropractic (DC) are licensed doctors who does diagnosis and either preforms and/or recommends treatment. That includes all areas of the neuromuscular system. The question is what is causing the problem with the area and that requires diagnosis. Diagnosis can't be done without an examination. If the cause is appropriate and responsive to conservative care then Chiropractic care with it's many therapeutic treatments is important and appropriate. Even if the problem has a permanent and/or structural component the treatments may still help, but may not totally eliminate the underlying cause. Don't wait to have the examination, as the sooner the problems is detected and treated the better.
Yes they can help. I recommend going to a Nutrition Specialist. Gut biome health has been shown to have the greatest effect in young people with chronic fatigue.
Yes, it can. It also does wonders for sinus problems, anxiety and constipation.
