“My right foot has been hurting, what could it be?”
It's painful from my arch to my heal, and it feels like I'm stepping on something sharp. What could it be? Should I see a doctor?

The pain you are describing sounds like plantar fasciitis. An examination is recommended to be sure as the wrong treatment could make your pain worse.
Sounds like plantar fasciitis or even muscle strain to the arch of the foot. Both of these I recommend seeing a doctor for.
This could be plantar fasciitis. I would recommend seeing podiatrist for evaluation.

Yes, you should see a doctor for a complete evaluation. It’s most likely coming from inflammation in the soft tissue on the bottom of the foot called the plantar fascia. However, there are other issues that could be taking place. If you can, take an anti inflammatory medication like Motrin or Aleve, ice the foot, and follow-up with a podiatrist for a work-up and x-rays.
Sounds like plantar fasciitis, a very common condition. Go online to get educated and do the following: stretch your Achilles tendon, ice, Motrin, arch supports, and don't walk barefoot. If all fails, go see your podiatrist.
Hello,
It sounds like it is plantar fasciitis. Get yourself a set of Super Feet orthoses and perform a runners stretch 3 times a day. That should help resolve the issue.

The most common cause of heel and arch pain is a condition called plantar fasciitis. It can be caused by a variety of things. Conservative treatments include stretching exercises, RICE, orthotics, anti inflammatories, injections, physical therapy and immobilization. I recommend you do an online search for plantar fasciitis exercises and find a good pair of OTC arch supports and take Motrin 800mg three times a day for 1-2 weeks and if your pain has not not improved then I would consider seeing a specialist. Good luck to you and thank you for your question.
Plantar Fasciitis. Most common symptoms Heel and Arch pain. Worse in AM and after rest. You should have treatment because it tends to get worse.
You need to seek a professional opinion by either an orthopedic surgeon or a podiatrist to get a definitive answer.

You may have plantar fasciitis, and inflammation which can progress to degeneration of the fibers connecting the heel to the ball of the foot. Ice massage may help, but you should see your podiatrist for evaluation and treatment plan
The most likely cause of your pain is called Plantar Fasciitis. It depends on how long the problem has been present and how much it is interfering with your activity that will decide if you should see a specialist for the problem, but podiatrists are very good at taking care of this problem
