Why is my wisdom tooth turning black?

I am a 26 year old male. I noticed that my wisdom tooth is turning black. What could be the cause?

Blood loss or decay is the primary reason for wisdom teeth getting dark.
You're probably not effectively cleaning the area.
It could be mainly tooth decay, which usually starts on the upper part of teeth. Other causes are stains due to beverages, cigarettes, and other pigmented material intake. Visit a dentist today and get checked.
There is a possibility that you are developing decay on these teeth. Please see your dentist as soon as possible.

You may have a cavity in the tooth. Have your dentist check it out as soon as possible.
Decay or calculus buildup due to an inability to keep it clean.
Your need to see your dentist. More than likely you may have been told that your wisdom teeth should be extracted. Only one person out of 25
has room for all four wisdom teeth. The rest of us need to have them extracted.
