Or your teeth could stop tracking and require a mid course correction. Both of these will add time your treatment. Invisalign is great. But there is no answer to this question that applies to every case. The best time estimate is how many aligners were prescribed and will you be changing aligners every week or every two weeks.

Now if you are asking about implant supported dentures then you do have anchorage and you do have less tissue coverage so they don't diminish taste as much.
