Make sure you keep rinsing with warm salt water for like 3-5 days and stay on a soft diet while avoiding hard food or spicy to avoid during healing time and continue the antibiotics and if you feel severe pain or swelling or inflammations around the area of extraction to contact your dentist to treat it ASAP.

If it's single unit implants, you need to place a crown after implants placed with certain time after surgery. It depends on the implants system used by your dentist. If an implant is placed and needs to connect it to other teeth, yes, then you need a bridge, but it depends on the prognosis of the adjacent teeth, so your dentist will decide the best treatment needed.

Yes, of course patients need to be under local anesthesia before surgery and dentists have to decide what anesthesia to be used. First, you need to see your dentist to take X-ray to make sure it's not involving the nerve then decide if it can be restored with regular filling material or if it needs a crown or possible root canal treatment.

Yes, too much sugar can cause cavities as well as other health problems such as diabetes. You can always try to substitute with healthy snacks such as fruit and vegetables, and if still can't control it, make sure he brushes at least twice a day with rinsing after each meal and see a dentist twice year for cleaning and check up. Also, you can show him kids videos how too much sugar affects teeth and health. Also, remember you're the parent to always be in charge of his food habits.

Wisdom teeth have different reasons to be extracted Such as for
Orthodintic, pain , impactions, infections Extractions of wisdom teeth
could be simple or surgical and most of impacted ones have diffrent
complications that some require referrals to an oral surgeon depends on
different factors such as type of impactions , possible nerve involvement,
patients health issues and level of patients apprehension that some need to
be sedated orally or locally or under Iv or general sedation and mostly the
level of the general dentist's experience in those type of cases . So the
general dentist would be able to evaluate and diagnosis each case
individually depends on the issueds mentioned above and then decides if ur
dentist would be able to do it or an oral surgeon to perform those
procedures . Good panoramic X-ray with good visual oral exam are the key to
evaluate who will perform such cases like that .
