Can a chiropractor help with upper thigh pain?

I am a 35 year old female. I want to know if a chiropractor can help with upper thigh pain?

A chiropractor will be able to help you find the actual cause of the pain and direct you to a solution. However, the solution may be a referral to another provider based on the cause of the pain.
Hi there, thanks for the question! I'm inclined to say yes. Contact your local chiropractor who offers soft tissue services, there may be a muscle dysfunction that keeps you from long-term relief. Routine adjustments will help keep the muscles from becoming hypertonic (too tight). I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Yes. Active release technique.
Upper thigh pain is usually the result of misalignment of the spine in the lower back region. The nervous system is comprised of over 2 trillion nerves that send information out to all parts of the body (inside and out) facilitating proper functioning of every particular body part. When misalignment occurs, any combination of those nerves are affected leading to any combination of symptoms in any part of the body. Correcting misalignment of the spine controlling nerves going to the thigh is usually very helpful in alleviating upper thigh pain.
Generally yes
They can but depends on where the pain is coming from and has to be evaluated.
Muscles are responsive to your nervous system, therefore, your body should be checked for nerve interference in your spine, which chiropractors identify as a "subluxation." If this is occurring, especially in your lumbar spine, your thigh muscles could be directly involved. Therefore, a visit to your chiropractor would be a good and logical item to start with in your search for help with your thigh muscles. The chiropractor should also be able to refer you to another professional health care worker if they are unable to help you!
Yes, Upper thigh pain originates in the Lumbar spine in most cases and Chiropractic treatment can definitely be helpful.
The answer definitely depends on what type of problem that you have. Upper thigh issues can be a few different things depending on where in the upper thigh that you're talking about. If it's a hernia, not so much. Most chiropractors would be able to help with something caused from the low back. Some chiropractors would be able to help if it is a strained muscle from running. I recommend getting evaluated by someone who is qualified like a chiropractor with a specialty in sports medicine. Once you know what the problem is, the person should be able to direct care appropriately.
Depending on the cause of the pain, a chiropractor may or may not be able to help. If the problem is due to a subluxation, disc herniation, or problem with the spinal joints causing nerve-related complications, you may benefit from seeking chiropractic care. It is best to first be evaluated by a licensed chiropractor and see what the diagnosis is.
Hope this helps.
Hello! Before I can fully answer that question, a thorough chiropractic exam needs to be performed to see what is the cause of the thigh pain.
The pain may begin in the pelvis and spread down the inner thigh. A highly qualified chiropractor will be able to adjust the pelvis and hips, along with the surrounding muscles and joints, to bring pain relief.
Yes. A proper evaluation is needed to determine the cause and then the proper treatment.
We can help by first determining the contributing causes, like lumbar spine or pelvis misalignments or mineral deficiencies or dehydration etc
Yes, this is commonly caused from a contracted or shortened psoas muscle. Chiropractors treat this issue often.
Only a thorough examination can determine the cause of the upper thigh pain. There are many reasons for this, so I can't answer your question unless you have had a complete examination.
