“Does pneumonia make your back hurt?”
I am a 19 year old male and I have pneumonia. I want to know if pneumonia makes your back hurt?

Pneumonia can certainly make your back hurt. Aside from potential muscle strain from coughing, there could be pleuritic pain (lung lining). Please keep close followup with your treating physician. Lastly, consider a follow up X-ray to document resolution of the infection.
