Phyisical therapy can be very helpful in the treatment of vertigo. There are some specific treatments that can last various time periods and sometimes repeated treatments can be helpful.
Once the vertigo is completely gone, the relief from the Epley maneuvers can last years.
Hi,

Vertigo can be caused by a variety of different things. If it is BPPV, Physical Therapy can cure that permanently, however, it might take 1 session or it may take 20 sessions. It all depends on the patient.
That all depends on the cause of the vertigo. If it is caused by what is called BPPV and the physical therapist is able to diagnose and treat it correctly, it could be fixed in one or two visits.
