It’s an excellent option if you don’t have any of the contraindications

Why are my eyes so sensitive to bright light?

Many, many different conditions can be the cause of light sensitivity. An eye exam is a must.

Why do I have constant twitching in my left eye?

It’s usually from not enough sleep, too much caffeine, stress, but occasionally is something more significant

Leber’s optic neuropathy is more common in men than women and tends to occur between 15-30 years of age. No proven treatment is available, so DNA testing is more for genetic counseling. READ MORE

If you or someone else suffers from Leber’s, a cardiology exam is needed to rule out any heart rhythm abnormality.

Some examples include Refresh or Systane drops, but quite often, the store brand of the lubricants is equally effective.
