I am sorry you are going through this now, and yes, many people report fatigue during Radiation treatment. Please discuss your situation with the Radiation Therapist coordinating your treatment, to see if this is within the usual boundaries of reaction to treatment.

I am sorry you are experiencing this at a relatively young age. The most common cause of this is genetic, hereditary. Most likely your father or grandfathers also have this hair thinning.
Your mother may also have some thinning, but it is less prevalent in women, and manifests as crown thinning, but not usually baldness. This is not likely to be from an “illness”

Rogaine topically can help. It is a solution or foam to be applied to your scalp daily. It causes hair to be healthier, but is not a cure, so if you stop using it, the improvement disappears. There is a pill, finasteride, which blocks production of testosterone in the skin, but if you want to consider this, please see your doctor, or be referred to a dermatologist who specializes in hair problems.

Please get seen by your physician or provider.  This is not something you can tease out by yourself. Please do this very quickly, as if you do have endocarditis you need to be on treatment NOW.

So sorry your mom broke her femur. The 42 is a bit low, and you should have her see her doctor. She may still be a bit anemic from the fracture, or may need to have her medication doses lowered a bit if the hemoglobin is OK, and she is not anemic.

Please do not panic, but stay off the alcohol. The best thing would be to check again in a few months and avoid Tylenol also, which can elevate the AST or ALT. It is true that numbers much higher are what we are alarmed about for patients, and suggest more serious diseases. If your numbers remain a bit up then seeing a gastroenterologist would be a good next step, for further evaluations. I hope that is helpful.

This may be a migraine. Do you have family members with them? Please see a practitioner to get evaluated, and get treatment for whatever this is.

There is a new focus on what is called “controlled substances” which includes Adderal now. The test is to be sure you are taking the Adderal and be sure you are not taking any other meds your doctor doesn’t know about.

Congratulations, your spleen is not abnormal, not swollen.

I am sorry you are not better. Was a culture done? If not please get one done. Keflex doesn’t kill some bacteria which cause bladder infections. If a culture was done, and the bacteria will be killed by Keflex, you may need to continue it for a total of 10 days. If this doesn’t resolve please see a urologist or kidney specialist.

Please contact your oncologist ASAP, and discuss this.

Please ask your heart doctor to clarify. The regimen is different depending on the type of stent placed.

I am sorry to read about your problem. Are you being treated for cancer? There is a heparin-associated hypercoagulation condition, which needs to be treated by different agents, not warfarin, or heparin. I do not know if this makes the so-called DOAC agents, such as Eliquis, also unusable. If you are being treated for cancer, please contact your oncologist ASAP, or if you do not have cancer, contact a Hematologist also ASAP. There are some inherited conditions that affect the quantity and or function of protein C or protein S, which can also increase clotting tendencies, and there are other conditions as well. The hematologist will know what to test you need.

Please do see your doctor. This could be a kidney stone, or possibly right sided diverticulitis. Less likely, but your urine needs to be checked for an infection, or possibly bladder cancer, especially if you have been a smoker. Please see your doctor quickly.
