You need to see a doctor about the left arm. The needle may have hit a nerve. Pain for this long and limitation is NOT likely from muscle. Do not get any more injections in the left arm until it is fully evaluated. You may be referred to a neurologist or PMR specialist. Do not see an orthopedic surgeon for this problem. I do advise the booster ASAP in the right arm, given your age. This adverse event is not due to the vaccine, but rather a rare complication of a misdirected needle.

Covid vaccine question?
Probably could, but I would not advise it. The Moderna has the best track record, i.e., stronger, lasts longer. Stick with Moderna for # 2 and a booster 6 months later.

Annual flu shot?
Both. Despite the advice to get them together, I prefer two weeks between doses. It's Flu season. Get the Flu vaccine first. At age 65, ask for the high dose or senior Flu vaccine.

Due to your age and atrial fibrillation, you are at a higher risk for a bad outcome with natural Covid-19 infection. Vaccine immunity after boosters is way better than natural immunity. Complications after any of the three vaccines in the USA are VERY RARE, e.g., a few cases per millions of doses. You are WAY more likely to be struck by lightning, killed in a car accident, or have your plane fall out of the sky. Each of the three vaccines have different ingredients, but the two mRNA vaccines are very similar and the strongest and safest. Do not read social media or listen to people with negative opinions about vaccines. They are really a gift from God. 95% of doctors and their families are vaccinated. 90% of the richest people in America are vaccinated. Maybe these are the people you should emulate?

Do we need the Covid-19 booster?
Controversial issue and no clear right or wrong answer at this time. I personally would get a booster, but not for at least 6 months after you both recovered from Covid-19.
