What are the signs of a cardiac emergency?
Chest pain, chest pressure, shortness of breath, sudden weakness, light headed with other symptoms. Also, fainting. Important if has history of high BP, Diabetes, etc.

When everything is okay, then try to investigate your thyroid gland in the neck. If hyper function, then you need to treat that. Hyperthyroid can produce similar cardiac symptoms. You should also have blood tests, chemistry electrolytes, etc.
