It very much depends on certain ligaments within your breasts, size of your breasts and a lot depends on how you take care of them. Must wear support bras at all times after surgery for at least 3 months than you can sleep without bras but use them religiously all day!

The external splint is removed in one week (usually) and septal splint or inner packaging within 2-4 days. After one week to 10 days, the very noticeable swelling and bruising resolve. It will take about 12-16 months for all the swelling to resolve and the final results be clearly visible.

General rare side effects after liposuction can be; bleeding,infection, skin dimpling, discoloration, asymmetry,emboli. Thank you for this question. Mainstream liposuction has been around since early 1970 ties started by Yves Illouz in France. At first it was done with a fairly large cannula connected to a potent suction machine. Few years later tumescent liposuction was added (by first infiltrating a solution) to prevent blood loss and smoother results. Other refinements added over the years power assisted, ultrasound assisted and laser assisted liposuction were introduced. The latest state of art liposuction involve skin tightening such as ”Bodytite” and “Facetite” radiofrequency equipment. This usually avoids skin laxity after more aggressive liposuction for body contouring. I think with all that’s available today for liposuction it should be safe in the hands of a well trained board certified plastic surgeon. I should also mention that for a minimal fat loss, you may try Cool Sculpt (non surgical) procedure.

You probably have redundant skin on your abdomen,back thighs and arms. For abdominal and back area you will probably need a circumferential skin resection,arms may at times be managed with minimally invasive (no scars) Inmode Bodytite radiofrequency equipment or loposuction and skin resection. You may also have your thigh laxity managed with Inmode Bodytite ( skin tightened) or if needed with skin resection. To start see a plastic surgeon who is well versed with bariatric patients.
