Yes, Botox has been helpful in alleviating spasticity and particularly on the heelcords. It must be accompanied by physical therapy and sometimes with serial casting. The draw back sometimes is that after several rounds it looses efficacy. Another option ( a bit more invasive) but quite useful ; Specially if your spasticity is disseminated and involves trunk and upper extremities is an intrathecal Baclofen pump.Talk to your Neurologist or Physical Rehabilitation Dr. about those options. Good luck. Dr. F. Sent from AOL on Android

From what I can see, the cerebellar tonsils are right at the borderline of the foramen Magnum. Thus not meeting criteria for Arnold Chiari I. I'm not sure that getting an upright MRI will change anything ( unless he is symptomatic ) and even then you ( he ) would have to have more than 10 mm downward displacement or evidence of a syringomyelia before any surgical intervention consideration is given. I've not seen that happen with Seroquel , Abilify and the switching back and forth, nor has it been documented. I see you also take blood pressure medication. Is your blood pressure under control?, if not that could be a possible cause. While stress is a possibility,  one has to make sure other causes ( such as blood pressure out of control leading to mini strokes, Hypertensive encephalopathy could certainly be a cause. Talk to your doctor(s) and have a detailed history of recent events and examination with further testing  if deemed necessary,  to hopefully reach a better answer for you. I truly believe you are going to be fine. It sounds like you had no sequelae from your prior trauma at 10. This episode also seems minor with no loss of consciousness and no major loss of function. Other than some mild headaches I don't think you will experience any major problems. Stop blaming yourself for having a little fun. Life is full of predicaments or risks but those that are not majorly risky are what makes it worth living.
